- Who it's for
- For readers of any age who enjoy comic strips with a critical edge, and a good way into Mafalda for anyone who hasn't met her yet.
- Why people still read it
- Mafalda has been read across generations: Umberto Eco called her a heroine of our time, and Julio Cortázar and Liniers, among others, have written about her; Liniers ranks her, alongside El Eternauta, as the most influential Argentine comic.

Why we only look at used copies
In Spain, Law 10/2007 fixes the price of new books: the publisher sets it and shops can only take 5% off. Amazon, FNAC and your local bookshop all cost the same. The only place the price moves is second-hand.
